Artisan Construction & Embroidery

Each Artisan Jacket is carefully designed by us and created in collaboration with skilled Indian artisans using hand-picked vintage textiles. Every panel is selected for its quality, character and craftsmanship, meaning no two jackets are ever the same.

Pieces that feature traditional hand embroidered suzani work, you may notice visible thread finishes, stitch variations or slight irregularities. This embroidery is created entirely by hand using ancient techniques, not machine stitching. (These characteristics are inherent to the craft and are not faults.)

All jackets are thoroughly inspected before dispatch to ensure the embroidery is secure and structurally sound.

As with all vintage textiles, visible signs of age and wear may be present. We see this as part of the story, not a flaw.
